Nora GAUVREAU

Nora Ellen Gauvreau, nee Nielsen, passed away on April 1, 2026, in her 87th year, in North Bay, Ontario. Born in 1938, Nora was a Real Estate Agent in Guelph, Ontario, for over 25 years and volunteered with the Guelph Minor Hockey Mothers Auxiliary. She is predeceased by her husband Ronald Gauvreau and siblings Laura, Clara, Gloria, John, Lloyd, and Sonny. Nora is survived by her children Perry Gauvreau and Mandy Perissinotto, grandchildren Matthew Perissinotto, Allanah Perissinotto, and Scott Gauvreau, and great-grandchildren Lilianna, Colton, Mason, Benjamin, and Imogen, as well as siblings Carl, Sid, Dale, Ruth, Ann, and Dennis. The family would like to thank the staff at Cassellholme in North Bay for their kindness and support, particularly for ensuring Nora could watch the Toronto Blue Jay games. A private family celebration of life will be held at Sunset Villa, and Nora will be laid to rest in May at the Danish Cemetery Sunset Mindepark in Puslinch, Ontario.
