Nancy Lynn SKIPPER (Dean)
Nancy Lynn Skipper (nee Hawkins) of Guelph, Ontario, passed away on August 28, 2026, at the age of 94. She was the beloved wife of the late John (Jack/Skip) Skipper, who predeceased her in 2018. Nancy was a cherished mother to Cameron (Barbara), David (Lisa), and the late John Skipper (1978). She took great joy in being a grandmother to Conor (Sabrina), Carson (Lesley), and Colin, as well as a great-grandmother to Hudson, Ellie, and Layla. Nancy will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley Dunke (Bill), Carolyn Heinbuch (Paul), and Anne Massey (Darrell). Visitation will take place at Brombal Funeral Home on September 2, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 1:30 p.m. A private burial will occur at Woodland Cemetery in Kitchener. Memorial contributions to the Guelph Humane Society or the Children's Foundation are appreciated. The family expresses gratitude to Laura and Pat from Right At Home and the staff at University Gates for their compassionate care.
