The family of Mary Patricia McCarthy announces her passing on August 23, 2026, in Guelph, Ontario. Mary Patricia was predeceased by her husband Eugene (Geno) and her son Quinn. She is survived by her children, Susan (Wayne), John (Jane), Greg (Gwendolyn), and Sara (Paul); her siblings, Frank (Fran) and Linda (Don); and her sister-in-law Cathy. Visitation took place on September 2, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home in Waterloo. A funeral Mass was held on September 3, 2026, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, followed by a reception at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo or The Food Bank of Waterloo Region.
