Mary Ellen Hayhoe

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Ellen Hayhoe of Guelph, Ontario. Born on July 8, 1935, she departed this life on October 8, 2026. Mary Ellen was predeceased by her parents, George Hayhoe and Louise Hayhoe, as well as her sister Ann. She is survived by her brother Edward (Eleanor), her sister-in-law Amy, and her nieces Janette, Anita, and Mary Jane. Additionally, she leaves behind her great-nieces and great-nephews, Luke Hayhoe, Amy, Cecily Binning, Elias, and Andrew Shurr, along with Addie and Autumn. Visitation took place on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 PM at the same location. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary Ellen's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
