Luigino Gino Zilio

Gino Zilio passed away on May 7, 2025, at the age of 94, at The Elliott Community, Guelph. He was the beloved husband of Vittoria for 65 years, loving father of Luciano (Jackie), Danny (Sandra), and Nadia (Mark), proud nonno to Jason (Nicole), Kayla (Scott), Jesse (Amber), Megan (Kyle), Nick (Taylor), and Elisa (Cody), and cherished bisnonno to Harper, Lachlan, Lucas, Roman, and Finnegan. He was the dear brother to Corona, Gina, Alfredo, Angelo, Gemma, Eugenio, Lucia, and Apollonia, and was predeceased by his brother, Mario (Anna). The family would like to thank the staff at the Paisley unit for their kind and compassionate care. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home. A visitation will take place on May 14, 2025, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Parish, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. and entombment at Marymount Cemetery. In his memory, the family would appreciate donations to SickKids Hospital Foundation, Ronald McDonald House Charity, or the War Amps.
