Kimberley Louise Short (Kimmie)

Kimberley Louise Short passed away on September 3, 2025, at the age of 58, at Toronto General Hospital, following complications from a double lung transplant. She was the beloved daughter of Marilyn D. Schooley and the late Gary E. Schooley. Kimberley is survived by her devoted husband, Phil Short, and their children: Trystan, Tylana, and Taryn Short, as well as her siblings: Dwayne Schooley, Darlene Ray, and Kelli Strub. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Michelle Morrison and her nieces and nephews: Kelsie Strub, Stephanie Morrison, Tina Bolzon, Josh Strub, Tyler Ray, David Ray, Danny Morrison, and Nathaniel Short. Kimberley was predeceased by her father, Gary E. Schooley. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Springfield Golf and Country Club. In memory of Kimberley, donations can be made to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
