John Stewart Younger

John Stewart Younger of Guelph, Ontario, passed away on October 19, 2026, at the age of 91. He was born on September 26, 1935. John is predeceased by his stepchild Michele Coke (Dean), great-grandchildren Brooke-Lynn Hack (Tyler), Aiden, Willow Hack, and Deklan Younger-Slade, as well as his parents John and Georgina Younger and his brother Norman. He is survived by his significant other Carol Coke, children Lillian Walker (Merle), Margory Currie (Greg), Selena Younger, and Jack Younger (Elyse), and stepdaughter Shawna Coke (late Ron). His grandchildren include Cori Hack (Danielle), Ryan Hack, John Younger-Slade, Gillian Currie (James), Chloe Currie, Jack Jr., Rylee, Casey Younger, and Tori Coke. He is also survived by his sister Joan Sloan (Jim) of Florida, friend Jim Crawford (Shannon), and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, November 21, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the College Park Recreation Centre, located at 302 College Ave W, Guelph, ON N1G4T6. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Jack's memory.
