John Cecil Prouse

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Cecil Prouse of Guelph, Ontario, who departed this life on August 29, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on November 5, 1947, John was known for his warmth and thoughtfulness, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him. He is survived by his parents, Alan Clarke Prouse and Verna Louise Prouse of Georgetown, as well as his siblings, Judy, Tom, and Louise. John also leaves behind his beloved nieces and nephews: Lynzie, Brittany, Kendall, Matthew, Shannon, Crystal, and Linda. His memory will forever be cherished by family and friends, who will hold dear the moments shared with him. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Homes.
