Joan May Kurisko

Joan May Kurisko was born on November 14, 1929, and died on August 15, 2026, at the age of 96. She was predeceased by her siblings Douglas and Marilynn and her son Blake. She is survived by her husband Stanley (Stan), her children Kathryn (Kathy), Stanley (Lee) and Andrea; her grandchildren Carla (Jeff), Bryce (Gloria), Brett (Amy), Cayli (Gary), Jeffrey (Carrie), Samantha (Nicholas), Daniel, Carolyn (Matthew), Diana, Cameron and Danika; and her great‑grandchildren Max, Keira, Emma, Milo, Oscar, Jack, Eloise, Leo and Alice. A celebration of life took place on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, ON N1G 4X9. The family requests donations in memory of Joan to the Alzheimer’s Society or Guelph General Hospital in lieu of flowers.
