JOAN CAROLYN BÉLANGER

Joan Carolyn Bélanger passed away on March 19, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on January 4, 1944, in Guelph, Ontario, she was the only child of Douglas Grant Leggat and Frances (née Zuber). Joan was the beloved wife of Greg for 63 years, mother to Douglas and Brian (Stephanie), and grandma to Emily. She was Greg's life partner and contributed to the welfare and wellbeing of their family with her many skills and aptitude as a homemaker and her working life outside of home, notably a lengthy career at Ontario Hydro. Respecting Joan's wishes, there will not be a funeral, ceremony or gathering. Cremation has taken place and an interment will be taking place at a later date at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Barrie, Ontario.
