Gregory "Greg" Eric BROOK

Gregory 'Greg' Eric Brook, born July 22, 1948, in Meaford, Ontario, passed away suddenly on February 26, 2026, at the age of 77, at Guelph General Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents, Eric and Dorothy Brook, and his beloved wife, Pamela Yates, as well as two grandsons. Greg is survived by his siblings, Lynne Herbert and Tom Brook. He was father to Derek Brook (Kelly), Chad Brook, and Andrea Brook, and a caring stepfather to Susan Yates and Lisa Breslin. His grandchildren knew him as 'Grumpy'. Greg was a proud grandfather to Amber (Dave) Wood, Brandi (Pete) Allen, Daniel Reid, Monica Reid, Marina Reid, and Alexis, Taylor, and Marcus Breslin, and great-grandfather to Jorden, Jade, Jenson, Finley, and Mason. He was also grandfather to Shayla-Raye, Austin, Tatiyana, Demitrius, Milicianna, and Jahvarius, and great-grandfather to Ella, Logan, Kaison, Rosey, Taliyah, and Bruce. A celebration of Greg's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society or Guelph General Hospital would be appreciated. The family extends their sincere thanks to Guelph EMS and the teams in the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit at Guelph General Hospital for their skilled and compassionate care and support.
