Grace Margaret (née Alexander) McAlpine

Grace Margaret McAlpine (née Alexander) passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at the age of 94. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 61 years, Bob. Grace is survived by her children, Laurie, Kerrie (Scott), David (Lesley), and Marie (Cole), and grandchildren, Tyler (Anna), Riley (Jessica), Owen, and Emerson. She is also survived by her sister, Linda Alford (Barry), and was predeceased by her brother, Raymond Alexander (Jean). Grace will be missed dearly by her nieces, nephews, and her close friend, Lorna Holmes. The family would like to thank the staff at Amica Georgetown for the compassionate care Grace received while living there. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2025, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with interment at Burlington Memorial Gardens.
