Elizabeth Helen KAUFMAN

Elizabeth Helen Kaufman passed away on February 10, 2026, at the age of 95. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Kaufman, who passed away in 2022. Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Diane and Janet, and their spouses, Glenn Carey and Dave Hodgson. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Kevin and Christopher Carey, Leanne and Laura Brodie, and her great-grandchildren, Carter and Lila Fantham, and Miles and Lincoln Brodie. Elizabeth's twin sister, Rita Spence, brother-in-law Don Smith, and sister-in-law Shirley Oliver also survive her. Predeceased by her sisters, Gloria Buckley, Mary Reinhart, and Agnes Smith, and her brothers-in-law, Bob Buckley, John Spence, and Ed Reinhart. Elizabeth was born on a farm in Goderich, Ontario, and learned the value of hard work from her parents, Leo and Mary Chisholm. She worked at Emco Limited, Ranger Metal Products, and the Wellington County Board of Education, and was an avid bridge player with the Guelph Bridge Club. Elizabeth and her husband, Richard, enjoyed traveling and taking vacations throughout Canada, Europe, and the U.S. She will be remembered for her sharp mind and her love for family and friends.
