DOUGLAS LESLIE KILPATRICK

Douglas Leslie Kilpatrick passed away on August 4, 2026, at the age of 92, in Guelph, Ontario. He was predeceased by his parents, Dr. Carman and Jeanette Kilpatrick, his wife of 71 years, Shirley Kilpatrick, and his sister, Barbara Ferris. Born on October 10, 1933, in Blyth, Ontario, Doug was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his children, Kenneth, Roland, and Lynn, as well as his grandchildren, Ian, Kimberly, Linnea, Alex, Matthew, Nicholas, and Thomas, and great-grandchildren, Isabelle and Lowan. Doug also leaves behind his brothers, Ken and Don, and many nieces and nephews. After a successful career with Canada Packers Inc., now Maple Leaf Foods, Doug and his wife spent their winters in Venice, Florida, and summers at their lakefront home on Lake Huron. In his later years, he resided at the Arboretum in Guelph. A private family service will be held at a later date, as per Doug's request. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Arbour Trails for their care and support. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Wellington or the charity of one's choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Wall-Custance Funeral Home.
