Dorothy Joan McAlpine

Dorothy Joan McAlpine of Guelph, Ontario, born on September 29, 1939, passed away on August 24, 2026, at the age of 86. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald McAlpine; her son, Douglas McAlpine; her grandchild, Ryan; her parents, Norm and Dorothy Townsend; her niece, Tammy Townsend; and her siblings-in-law, Elenor Williams, Robert, Grace McAlpine, Murray McAlpine, Arnold Irvine, and Glen Austin. Dorothy is survived by her son, Michael (Loriann); her granddaughter, Jacqueline; her great-grandchildren, Elena, Lucas, and Emilia; and her pet, Skye. Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM, both at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Hart Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Hospice Wellington or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
