Anna Marie LaFONTAINE

Anna Marie LaFontaine passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at Guelph General Hospital on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at the age of 90. She is predeceased by her husband Ronald, who passed away in 2015, and her brothers, Bill Strub and Jack Strub. Anna was born in Elora, Ontario, on November 1, 1934. She is survived by her children, Edward, Michelle and her husband Michael Glucksman, Matthew and his wife Karen, Roslyn and her husband Tony Contini, Renee and her husband Scott Kennedy, and Paulette and her husband Attila Korga. Anna was a devoted grandmother to Eric and his wife Alicia, Nicholas and his wife Lauren, Stefan, Taylor and her husband Dave Jefferson, Reece and his wife Marissa, Aleisha and her husband Ryan Angst, Emily and her husband Paul Nadstawny, Ashlee and her husband Cody Coffin, Kirby and his wife Zach Ruetz, Eric and his wife Eleanor, Justin and his wife Marisa, and Jeremy and his wife Megan, and a proud great-grandmother to sixteen. Visitation will take place at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home - Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Sunday, July 20, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and again on Monday, July 21, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church, 409 Paisley St., Guelph, on Tuesday, July 22, at 11:00 a.m., with a reception to follow in the church hall. Cremation will take place at a later time.
