Helen (Mary Helen) BARBEAU

Helen (Mary Helen) Barbeau passed away on February 20, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on October 18, 1945, in Acton, Ontario, she was the daughter of George William and Mary Benton, and sister of Birnie Benton. Helen married Brian Barbeau on May 20, 1967. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, singer, performer, and friend. Helen is survived by her husband, Brian, and their children, Chris (Karen), Kelli (Bruce), Colleen, and Stacey (Collum). She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, Logan (Jess), Thomas (Hannah), Braedon (Jess), Mairin, Madeleine, Kiera, Mitchell, Aidan, Claira, and Cooper. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff and medical professionals who cared for Helen at Princess Margaret Hospital, Juravinski Cancer Centre, Carlisle Medical Centre, and Ontario Home Care.
