Susanne Jane Hutchings

Susanne Jane Hutchings, née Latchford, passed away on August 1, 2026, at the age of 61. She was the beloved wife of Brian Hutchings for over 35 years and the cherished mother of Blair and Paige. Susanne was also a devoted grandmother to James and Quinn. She is survived by her mother, Shirley, and predeceased by her father, Keith Latchford. Susanne is also survived by her siblings, David, Kathy, and Janet, as well as her sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws. A dedicated dental hygienist, Susanne spent 30 years providing care in Grimsby and established the Dental Hygiene Team, a mobile service for long-term care residents. She was the recipient of the Fran Richardson Leadership Development Award and founded the not-for-profit service, Brushed Aside, to provide dental care to those in need.
