Mona Katherine (NEE Chapman) McLENNAN

Mona Katherine (nee Chapman) McLennan passed away in her home on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the age of 96, as was her wish. She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. D.W. (Bill) McLennan (2016), whom she had missed every day for the last 10 years. Mona was the proud mother of Sara Ruth, Julia Marie, and John Stanley Chapman (Samantha), and a fascinated grandmother to Desta Simone, Noelle Sarah, Natalie Marie, Sydney Rey, Colin James, and Marcella Reese. She is survived by her sisters Ruth Syme and Marg Chapman. Mona was predeceased by her parents Stanley Chapman and Ellen Cameron, and her siblings June Webel, Jane Crow, Brock Chapman, and Don Chapman. Mona will be cremated and a family gathering will take place on the grounds of her home in the summer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stonehouse-Whitcomb Funeral Home.
