James "Jim" Gurney VALLANCE

Jim Vallance passed away on April 13, 2026, at the age of 77. He was the beloved husband of Madeline for 54 years, loving father of Renée and Jamie, and proud grandfather of Payton, Avery, and Mitchell. Jim will be remembered for his strong work ethic, kindness, and sharp wit. He is survived by his wife Madeline, children Renée and Jamie, and grandchildren Payton, Avery, and Mitchell. Visitation will be held at Stonehouse-Whitcomb Funeral Home, 11 Mountain Street, Grimsby, on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. A private family burial will take place, and a celebration of Jim's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to McNally House Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
