Jack Davidson WATT

Jack Davidson Watt passed away at St. Peter's Hospital in Hamilton on August 21, 2026, at the age of 91. He was the husband of the late Wendy Marie Watt (née Coulson, died 2015), father of Shawn Watt (married to Loraina) and the late Tim Watt (deceased 1994), grandfather of Taylor (son of Gavin) and Connor (son of Jaydan), and great‑grandfather of Klaire and Lukas. He was survived by his brothers Fred and Dave Watt and was predeceased by his brother‑in‑law Albert Coulson, the late Frances Beaupit, and the late Paul Coulson. A longtime member and former elder of Trinity United Church, Jack was active in the Grimsby community through numerous service clubs and volunteer work. The family thanks the staff of St. Peter's and West Lincoln Memorial Hospitals for their care. A private cremation was performed. Visitation was held at Trinity United Church, 100 Main Street, Grimsby, on August 29, 2026, from 12 noon until the Celebration of Life Service at 1 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Peter's Hospital c/o Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation or the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation. Arrangements were made by Stonehouse-Whitcomb Funeral Home, Grimsby.
