Dr. Jonathan Charles Ginsburg (Jonny)

Dr. Jonathan Charles Ginsburg passed away on May 10, 2026, at the age of 78, with his loving wife and son by his side. He was a highly respected physician specializing in Internal Medicine and Cardiology and served the community through West Lincoln Memorial Hospital for many years. Dr. Ginsburg was the devoted husband of Karen Ginsburg for 50 wonderful years and a loving father to Michael, Jason, Antony, and the late Matthew, who is survived by Lauren. He was also a proud and cherished grandfather to Eden, Jordan, Maeve, and Leia. He will also be lovingly remembered by his siblings and their spouses, David and Lynne Ginsburg, and Margie and Monty Grunebaum, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, colleagues, and dear friends. Visitation and funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at George Darte Funeral Chapel in St. Catharines. A private Shiva will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either or both of the following charities.
