Dorothy Gail (nee Allan) BALKWILL

Dorothy Gail BALKWILL, nee Allan, passed away peacefully at Shalom Manor in Grimsby on August 7, 2026, at the age of 86. She was predeceased by her loving husband Thomas, her parents Edward and Agnes Allan, and her sister Audrey Morrison. Dorothy is sadly missed by her daughters Susan Feren and her husband Willie, Tammy Eborall, and JoAnne Haskell and her husband Rob. She was a beloved Nana to Timothy, Corey, Shelby, Jacob, Hannah, Paige, Ross, Sophie, and Grace, and a Great-nana to Jaxson, River, Harriet, Maeve, and Olive. Dorothy is also survived by her nieces Heather, Patti, Lori, and Lisa. She spent many years working at Brights Winery and enjoyed gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, and swimming. Cremation has taken place, and family and friends will gather at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel on August 20, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A private interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
