Carol Ann Sauer

Carol Ann Sauer of Grimsby, Ontario, passed away on September 1, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on January 3, 1946, she is fondly remembered by her family and friends. Carol Ann was predeceased by her husband, Jim Sauer; her parents, Jim and Lorna Nelson; and her great-grandchild, Oakley Sauer. She is survived by her children, Vicki Blackburn (Murray) and James Martin Sauer (Marty); her grandchildren, James Marcus Sauer (Vanessa), Samantha Sauer (Brandon), Jackson Blackburn, and Cassidy Blackburn; and her great-grandchildren, Adylin, Christopher, Warren, and Lincoln. Carol Ann is also survived by her sister, Lorna Piano, numerous nieces and nephews, and her close friend, Buñuelo. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to McMaster Children's Hospital NICU.
