Brent Wesley ZIMMERMAN

Brent Wesley Zimmerman passed away on February 2, 2026, at the age of 86. He is survived by his wife, Joan, with whom he shared 55 years of marriage. Brent was a devoted father to Kate (Wayne), Maggie (Jason), and David (Rachel), and a loving grandfather to Scarlet, Sam, Ruby, Rosie, and Matt. He also leaves behind his sister, Berkeley (late Jerry), and numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law, including Michael (late Claudia), Mark (late), Cathie (late), Glen, Anna Marie, Dale, Lee, David, Barb, Dean, Leslie, Fern, Jeremy, and their families. Additionally, he is survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Brent had a long and distinguished career in education, teaching at Stamford Collegiate and AN Myer for over three decades. He was a passionate coach, leading football teams throughout his career and track and field for many years, and also assisted with school plays. After retirement, he continued to teach and was proud to have the opportunity to teach students in their homes. Brent was known for his kindness, patience, and willingness to help others, often going above and beyond to support those in need. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
