Helen Jean Barnes, born on August 31, 1931, passed away on October 11, 2026, at the age of 95. She is survived by family members and friends who acknowledge this loss. A burial took place on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at 12:30 PM at Mickle Memorial Cemetery. Following the burial, a celebration of life was held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gravenhurst Legion. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Andy's House – Hospice Muskoka or the Gravenhurst Health Hub, which can be arranged online or through Cavill-Turner Funeral Home.
