Keith Colin Baldwin

Keith Colin Baldwin, aged 90, of Gananoque, Ontario, passed away after a brief illness at KGH on August 19, 2026. Born in Cascades, Quebec, on May 9, 1936, he is survived by his long-time partner Anneliese Seitz and his son Jeffery Baldwin. Keith enlisted in the Canadian Forces on November 6, 1957, and retired in February 1992 from Fort Fontenac in Kingston, Ontario. He served with the Lord Strathcona's Horse and the 8th Canadian Hussars, participating in NATO missions in Germany and peacekeeping in Egypt and Cyprus. Known affectionately as 'KC', he enjoyed golfing, gardening, and sharing stories of his military adventures and early farm life. A funeral service will take place on Friday, August 28, at 11:00 a.m. at Tompkins Funeral Home in Gananoque. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to War Amps Canada.
