Fernand Joseph Henri DELISLE
Fernand Joseph Henri Delisle passed away at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre, with family by his side, on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at the age of 86. He was the much-loved husband of 21 years to Patricia 'Pat' (née Muldoon). He was predeceased by his first wife, Yvette. Fernand was the much-loved father of Nicole Delisle, Gilles Delisle, Conrad (Florence) Delisle, Danielle Hogan (Archie), and Alfredine 'Linda' Plourde (Leo). He was the cherished grandfather of Andre, Tara, Sharon (Michael), Terilyn, Celsey (Kenny), Betty Rosa (Ryan), Patricia (Hunter), Sandy, and Jennifer. Fernand was also the great-grandfather of Zachary, Maddison, Avalon, Pheonix, Kaidra, Fable, Robert, Emily, Draven, and Alyssa, and the great-great-grandfather of Alex. He was the dear brother of Annette and Rejean. Fernand was predeceased by two sisters, Irene and Florence; by one brother, Jean Louis; and by his parents, Emile and Marie Anne Turmel. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home, 63 Garden Street, Gananoque, on Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 950 Old Kingston Mills Rd., on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Barnaby's Cemetery, Brewer's Mills.
