William Nelson Lamb

William Nelson Lamb passed away on February 13, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on January 19, 1949, he was a longtime resident of Fort Erie. He is survived by his wife, Beth (Bridgeman), and his children, Robyn (Aaron) Tiessen, Jessica, and Michael (Paula Jane), as well as Shawn O'Connor, whom he considered a son. He was also proud of his grandchildren, William, Cecilia, Georgia, and Theodore. William Nelson was predeceased by his parents, James R. (1966) and Mary Lou (Putney) (2020), and his brother, James Neal (1984). He will be missed by his niece, Beverly Lamb, and nephew, James Lamb, and their children, as well as his cousins and the members of the Bridgeman family. William Nelson was a crane operator with Horton Steel and later worked for 30 years at General Motors in St. Catharines. He enjoyed hot rods and classic cars and was a regular at Boys Night on Fridays and Sunday Breakfast in Port. A visitation with the family will be held at Benner's Funeral Home in Fort Erie on Sunday, February 22nd, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 5:00 p.m.
