Vernice Katherine STORTZ passed away on February 23, 2026. Predeceased by her husband, Edwin, she was the last surviving of 13 children born to Emma and Joseph Kostuk. Loving mother to Gail Pellerin, Brenda (Gerald) Foster, Vera Stortz and Joe (Cheryl) Stortz. Her stories will live on with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law. Predeceased by her son, Paul and daughter, Vivian. Cremation services were entrusted to Benner Funeral Services, Fort Erie. Contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
