Shirley Yvonne ATHOE

Shirley Yvonne Athoe (Chesney) passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026. She was the beloved wife of Robert Paul Athoe (predeceased) and a devoted and loving mother to Kenneth McClary, David McClary, Michael McClary, William Athoe (and his wife Brunetta), and Deborah (McClary) Jaffray (predeceased). She was also a proud grandmother and great-grandmother to Jocelyn, Vanessa, Kenneth, Chandra, Aiden, Taylor, and Tripp. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate her life and legacy at Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Avenue, Fort Erie on Thursday, June 11, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Friday, June 12, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m., with a Funeral Service to begin at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel. In memory of Shirley, loved ones are encouraged to honor her in a way that reflects her caring and compassionate spirit.
