Marie DELANO

Marie Delano passed away on June 2, 2026, in her 94th year. Born in 1932 in Napan Bay, New Brunswick, to Henry and Frances Gilliss, Marie was the firstborn of the family. She is predeceased by her husband Joe Delano. Marie is survived by her children Coleen Rakoczy and her husband Dan, and Randy Delano and his wife Ann, as well as her grandchildren Katie Rakoczy and her husband Brad, Paul Delano and his wife Sherry, Johnny Delano and his wife Alex, and Jennifer Delano, and her great-grandchildren Frankie, Sofia, Giuliana, Matteo, Steffania, Jax, and Everlee. Marie worked as an office clerk at Cynaimid for 38 years and enjoyed curling, bowling, and gardening in her free time. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, including her daughter's childhood friend Lisa Antonio. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Benner Funeral Home.
