Lloyd Harold Markle

Lloyd Harold Markle passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on November 5, 1950, he was raised on a family farm in Millgrove and later served as a Baptist minister, holding a Master of Divinity. His ministry took him and his family to Sarnia, Meaford, Markham and London before he retired in Fort Erie. He is survived by his wife Ruth (Vold), his children Lindsay (Ben), Lloyd (Laura) and Lyle (Anna), and grandchildren Alida, Maggie and Robyn. His brother Roy (Sandra), sister Leanne (John) and nephew Joel also survive him, as do nieces and nephews Kayla, Aaron, Dan, Ben, April, Hope and Paul. He is predeceased by his parents Lloyd Cecil and Barbara Markle, his in‑laws James and Ann Vold, and his grandchild James. Funeral arrangements are with Armstrong Funeral Home & Chapel Inc. in Fort Erie.
