John Alfred Coopman

John Alfred Coopman of Fort Erie, Ontario, was born on December 18, 1944, and passed away on October 11, 2026, at the age of 81. He was predeceased by his parents, Buster and Jenny. John is survived by his wife, Sharon (Shearing); his sons, Todd (Tara) and Brett (Meaghan); his grandsons, Jordan, Joel, Blake, Jake, and Brady; and his siblings, Carol, Joanne, and Michael. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation took place on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the First United Church, located at 5244 ON-3, Sherkston, ON L0S1R0. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. George's Food Bank or The Broken Spoke Program in John's memory would be appreciated.
