Bernadette Diane WALKER

Bernadette Diane Walker, born on June 30, 1952, in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, to Aurele and Emelie Desrosiers, passed away on July 20, 2026, at the age of 74. She is survived by her siblings Jules, Ronald, Berthe, Marcel, Irene, and Aurele, as well as her children Sylvia Desrosiers Poirier, Dora Wren, and Heidi Walker, and her stepchildren Mike, Johnnie, Danny, Debbie, and Shirley. She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Bernadette was predeceased by her husband John Percy Walker, her parents Aurele and Emily, and her siblings Reno, Guildor, and Renette. A devoted family member, Bernadette dedicated her life to caring for her loved ones. She will be remembered fondly by her grandchildren as Nana. The family extends their gratitude to the healthcare teams at Greater Niagara General Hospital and Douglas Memorial Hospital for their exceptional care. A funeral mass will be held at St. Michael's Church in Fort Erie, Ontario, on July 23rd, followed by burial at St. Michael's Cemetery.
