Henry Stryker

Henry Stryker passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 24, 2026, in Fordwich, ON, at the age of 99. He was the beloved husband of Cora, who predeceased him in 2011. Henry is survived by his children, John, Tony, Rick, Carson, and Harriet Bens, as well as his 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Janet Stryker and Corrie Stryker, and brother-in-law, George Sjaarda. Henry was predeceased by his infant daughter, Henrietta Jacqueline, and his siblings, Grace, Herman, Minnie, and Kurt. The family will receive relatives and friends from 3:00-3:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, with a celebration of life to follow visitation in the funeral home chapel at 4:00 p.m. Donations to the Waterloo Regional Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.
