Thomas HENDRIE

Thomas Hendrie passed away peacefully at the Welland Hospital with his loving family by his side on Monday, May 25, 2026, at the age of 94. He was the beloved husband of 70 years to Margaret. Tom was the loving father of Mary Jane, deceased, Stephen, Shelagh, Susan, and Paul. He was the cherished grandfather of Stephanie, Jennifer, Tyson, Liam, Heather, Colin, Emma, Hannah, Maggie, and great-grandfather of Tommy, Ann-Marie, Hunter, Harlow, Sophie, and Lucy. Tom was the dear brother of Margo, deceased, Penny, deceased, and survived by his sisters, Johanne and May, residing in England. Born to Tom and Mary Hendrie in Edinburgh, Scotland, Tom and Margaret immigrated from Scotland to Sault Ste. Marie with their family of five children in 1966. Family and friends will be received at the Pelham Funeral Home on Thursday, May 28th, from 6 - 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will take place at St. Alexander Catholic Church on Friday, May 29th, at 11:00 a.m., cremation will follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to St. Alexander Catholic Church. Tom was predeceased by his daughter Mary Jane, sister Margo, and sister Penny.
