Ronald David McCabe

Ronald David McCabe passed away on May 11, 2026, at the age of 78, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband and best friend to Patricia for the past 58 years. Ron was the cherished father to Ronald Jr and Rhonda. He will be sadly missed by his siblings, Max, Linda Traverse, Phyllis Ferry, Dave, Irene Clarke, Judy Richard, and Dee Patterson, as well as his sister-in-law, Kelly, and step-grandchildren, Kate, Bella, Evyn, and Josh. Ron will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Audrey and Willis McCabe, sister Shirley, brothers Clyde, Glenn, and George, mother and father-in-law, Florence and Ralph Costiff, and sister-in-laws, Janet Cruise and Barb Sikorski. Ron worked for the City of St. Catharines for 28 years. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Ron's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
