Peter William NICE

Peter William Nice passed away on February 15, 2026, at the age of 92 years. He was the beloved husband of Marilyn Ruth Nice (nee Thiffault) for 70 years. Peter is survived by his children, Ian (Laurie Mason), Peter (Marilyn Rennie), and Linda (Paul Allicock); his grandchildren, Amy (Bryan), Leanne (Joe), Lindsay (Paul), and Jessie (Josh); and his great-grandchildren, Logan, Quinn, Spencer, and Benjamin. He will also be remembered by his brother, Edwin Nice; and his brother and sisters-in-law, Barbara Thiffault, Marina Filippini, and Bill Thiffault. Peter was predeceased by his mother, Daisy Vivian Matthews; and his father, Edwin Charles Nice. Peter worked at CIBC for 20 years and enjoyed gardening, golfing, and following English Premier League Football, particularly Arsenal FC. A visitation will be held at Pleasantview Funeral Home on February 27, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by a service and burial. A reception will be held afterward. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in Peter's memory.
