Mr. Burton Alfred Wilson (Bert)

Burton Alfred Wilson, affectionately known as Bert, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026, at the age of 90, surrounded by his loved ones. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Joanne, and their three children, Cathy, Tim, and his wife Heather, and Rick, and his wife Tina. Bert will also be deeply missed by his grandchildren, Alicia, Dawson, and Alyssa, as well as his sister Ruby and extended family. Throughout his life, Bert dedicated 37 years to his career at Imperial Oil and subsequently spent 18 years volunteering at the Niagara Warehouse of Hope. A funeral mass will be held at St. Alexander Church on September 9th at 1PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Welland Hospital.
