Mary Eileen (née Lidster) TAPLEY

Mary Eileen Tapley passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on February 6, 2026, at the age of 100. She was the beloved wife of the late Fred Tapley, with whom she shared 63 wonderful years of marriage. Mary Eileen was also the devoted mother of the late Mark Tapley, cherished grandmother of Laura (Corey) Sparkman and Adrian Tapley, and proud great-grandmother of Liam and Emma Sparkman. She spent her final years surrounded by the compassionate care of the dedicated staff and Sisters at Mount Carmel Retirement Home, where she formed many meaningful friendships. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Mount Carmel Retirement Home.
