Walter Victor CHMELYK

Walter Victor Chmelyk passed away on April 29, 2025, at the age of 67. Born in Toronto, ON, and raised in Uxbridge, ON, Walter was a man deeply rooted in his love of sod farming. He took over his father's business, Express Sod Supply and Landscaping, and spent most of his life tending the land with pride. He also had a strong passion for operating heavy equipment. Walter is survived by his three children, Andrew, Marianne, and Alexandra, and their spouses, Becky, Anton, and Jeff, as well as five grandchildren: Sofia, Ivanka, Nikolas, Leena, and Amelia. He is predeceased by his mother and father. The family will be holding a private memorial service, and Walter will be laid to rest in Sandford Cemetery, as per his final wishes.
