Mr David Matthew Marritt

David Marritt of Elora passed away on May 9, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on May 2, 1957, in Galt, Ontario, he was a successful and highly respected business owner. David is survived by his children, Sadie and Isaac; his partner and the mother of his children, Colleen Craig; his brother, Paul; his sister, Robin; and his brother, Richard. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Helen Marritt. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Fergus Legion, 500 Blair Street, Fergus, Ontario, on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and words of remembrance at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Waterloo Regional Kart Club for the Dave Marritt Memorial Showdown Race Series, which can be sent via email to treasurer@wrkc.on.ca.
