Joyce Mary WILSON (née Archibald)
Joyce Mary Wilson (née Archibald) passed away on May 6, 2026, at the age of 99, at Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus. She now joins her beloved husband, Manley (1992). Joyce was the devoted mother of Betty-Anne (Jeff) and a proud grandmother to Michelle (Josh), Jennifer (Brandon), and Nicholas. Her legacy lives on through her cherished great-grandchildren, Madilyn, Rachel, and Rylee. She will be fondly remembered by her nephews John and Tom (Tisha), and deeply missed by Debra (Paul) and her many dear friends. Joyce was predeceased by her parents, Wesley and Eva Archibald; as well as her brother, Earl; and sister-in-law, Gladys. Friends and family are invited to share their memories during visitation at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2026, with interment to follow at Elora Municipal Cemetery. For those unable to attend in person, a link to the livestream of the service can be found on the funeral home's website. Those attending the services are invited to wear a touch of blue in her honour. Following the interment, a reception will be held upstairs at the funeral home in the Wellington Room. Elevator access is available. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the Groves Memorial Hospital Foundation or Diabetes Canada.
