Doris Lily May "Dorie" HANSON

Doris Lily May 'Dorie' HANSON died on April 6, 2025, in Fergus, Ontario at the Wellington Terrace Residence. Dorie was born with a will of her own and followed her heart. She fell in love with Gordon Babcock and they married, having two children, Leanne and Greg. After their paths diverged, Dorie worked with the Inner Peace Movement, travelling across Canada and the world, teaching people about intuition and spirit guides. She also achieved certification in nutrition and worked as a consultant, guiding people on spiritual, mental, and physical well-being. Dorie cherished her family, particularly her sisters, with a special bond with sister Gay. She met Bob, who became her companion in her later years, and they enjoyed dancing, dining, golf, and fun together. In her final years, Dorie required full-time care due to dementia. Funeral arrangements are with Grand River Crematorium Service.
