DAPHNE MARIA ORMEROD

Daphne Maria Ormerod died peacefully on May 7, 2026, at Wellington Terrace Long Term Care Home in Fergus, ON, at the age of 85. She is survived by her spouse of 62 years, William Ormerod, and her daughters, Stephanie Zielinsky and her husband Rob, Shelley Ormerod and her partner Chris Elias, and Elizabeth Ormerod. Daphne was a beloved Nana to her grandchildren, Nathan, Kayleigh, Alexandria, Natalia, Lara, and Nadia. She was predeceased by her parents, Mabel and Lionel Griffin, her brother David, and her pet Faith. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:45 p.m., with a funeral held at 2:00 p.m., at Graham Giddy Funeral Home Ltd. in Fergus, ON. Interment will take place at the Grove Cemetery, Orton, with a reception at William's home to follow. The family would like to extend their appreciation and gratitude to the entire staff at Wellington Terrace LTC for their exceptional care, dedication, and love for Daphne.
