John Henry VAN TUYL

John Henry Van Tuyl passed away on August 11, 2026, at the age of 72, surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Carol for 48 years and a devoted father to Chris, Henny, Megan, Alex, and Amber. John is survived by his grandchildren, Joshua, Chloe, Kate, Madison, Zachary, Sarah, Emily, John, and James, as well as his brothers Henk, Joe, Harry, Leo, and their families. He was also looking forward to the arrival of his first great-grandchild. John worked as a truck driver for 50 years and took great pride in his work. A visitation will be held at Lampman Funeral Home on August 14, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and the funeral will take place at Riverside CRC on August 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. The family would like to thank the staff at Walker House Welland and John's home healthcare team for their excellent care. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Walker House Hospice Welland.
