Shirley Jane (Minshall) Lantz

Shirley Jane Lantz passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026, at the age of 95 and a half. She was the beloved wife of the late Don Lantz, who predeceased her in 2010, after 57 years of marriage. Shirley was a loving mother of Jeff, married to Cheryl, Steve, married to Dianne, and the late Judith. She was a proud grandma of 4 and great-grandma of 2. Shirley graduated from Western with a Bachelor of Arts in General Arts in 1952 and married Don in June 1953. She was a performer with the Sarnia Glee Club, sang second soprano in a Sweet Adelines chorus, and was a tenor in her own quartet. Shirley sold real estate in Sarnia and was a member of the Sarnia Golf and Curling Club. After Don's passing, she kept active with golf, bowling, exercise classes, and singing. Shirley moved to London to be closer to family. Cremation has taken place, as per her wishes. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Extendicare London for their compassionate care during her time with them.
