Lionel Kloss

Lionel Albert Rudolf Kloss of Goderich, Ontario, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2026, at the age of 88. He is survived by his beloved wife Marlynn, with whom he shared 70 years of marriage, and their children Sandra and John (Andrea). Lionel was a proud grandfather to Doug (Bre) and Michele (Ryan), and he cherished his four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Rena. Lionel was predeceased by his son Donald and his brothers Richard and John. A dedicated farmer, he found joy in working with his horses, cats, and machinery. Friends are invited to visit on September 3, 2026, from 3 to 4 PM at Haskett Funeral Home in Goderich, followed by a short service. The family expresses gratitude to the nurses and PSWs for their compassionate care. Donations in Lionel's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Huron Perth or Huron Hospice.
