SOPHIE BORZECKI

Sophie Borzecki (nee Piwowarczyk) passed away on June 7, 2026, at the age of 95. She was the beloved wife of her predeceased first husband, Jerzy 'George' Borzecki, with whom she raised five children, Bernard Firanski, Michel, Daniel, Helene (James), and Monique (Martin). She was cherished grandmother of Bernard (Tracey), Kelly, Michelle (Andrew), Jeffrey (Mackenzie), Colin, David (Andrea), Michael (Nicole), and Kristina (Reshad), Alexander (Marie), Kathyrn, and Geneve. She was also a great-grandmother to Sophie, Griffin, Nora, Aaron, Henry, Clara, Lucy, and Sofia. Later in life, she married Guiseppe Dissegna, whom she loved until he passed away on April 4, 2026. A Funeral Mass will be held on June 11, 2026, at 12 noon, followed by interment at Sanctuary Park Cemetery, located at 1570 Royal York Road, Etobicoke.
